01. First, the Chest.
Measure the dress from armpit to armpit on one side. Double this number to get your chest size. In the diagram above, the 'armpit to armpit' length is 19 inches. Therefore, this garment's chest size is 19 x 2 = 38 inches.
02. Then, the Waist and Hips.
Repeat Step 1 for the waist and hips. The waist is usually one inch above the navel. The hip is the widest part of the kurti below the waist. In the diagram above, the waist measures 18 x 2 = 36 inches and the hips measure 20 x 2 = 40 inches. You're done!
03. Final Suggestions.
